PURPOSE: Why are we here?

Many people ask themselves, especially in the wintertime, why they are here on earth?

The simple answer is: "YES."

When the weather is colder, and it is sooner dark outside, people think more about the sense of their life. But, unfortunately, sometimes these questions lead them to depressive feelings, and their mind is torturing them:" Why do I live? Is there any purpose that I am here? Does it matter in any way if I am here or not? Is there any reason that I am here?

You are not here by accident; you are planned, loved, and carefully equipped with all you need to be successful here on earth. It is your purpose to make an eternal impact, to reflect God's love and wisdom here on earth so that others can see God through your life and through all that you do. You have a unique calling, a unique purpose that only you have. Nobody can take your place and fulfill your calling.

You were sent into a specific time to accomplish what God has planned for you with precisely those gifts you need. Nobody can do the things as you do them. So if you don't step into your calling, somebody else has to do your tasks, but the person will never do the things as you can do them.

And because we don't know how it was planned, Jesus gave us the most important prayer ever:

Somebody else can do things technically or financially, maybe as you would do them, but God made you so unique that it will always be different and not as planned in Heaven.

Matthew 6:9-13

Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

As in Heaven, so on earth, as God planned it, that's the key to be successful to step into your god-given purpose and to make an eternal impact. And remember, if you don't do the things in your time, for the people God gave you, you are like a thief. You rob and steal those people's hope, love, purpose, and encouragement when they need it the most.

Start today with a different way of thinking about yourself, your surrounding, your calling.
